BiCon 7: The 7th National Bisexual Conference was held at Coventry Polytechnic (now Coventry University), from 26th-30th August 1989.
It was the first to be called 'BiCon', the first to offer residential rooms (using the Poly's halls of residence), and the first to be held outside London or Edinburgh.
It attracted over 200 participants, a big increase on the earlier events.
